I really enjoyed working on this project, it was one of the types were you forget that electrical equipment has its' constraints. With a little bit of math I was able to prove that 1 power strip could in fact support 3 UPS units and a mesh of computer systems.
I took this on as a personal project to propel both my personal life and linux skills forward. I needed an OS that could support future drive expansion and provide various services. It's the ultimate NAS, if you can even call it that.
I did a lot of customizations for this project in response to the demand for small ITX gaming builds with power house components. Building the Truncator required significant research and despite the numerous sources claiming 3 AOI Liquid Coolers wouldn't fit in it, I made it happen with careful planning and power tools.
